The Goldens State Warriors signed a contract with Marco Belinelli, that Warriors chose with the 18th choice of the NBA Draft 2007, announced the Executive Vice-president of the operations Basketball, Chris Mullin.
Belinelli, a guard originating in Bologna, Italy, was a player of Golden State Warriors in NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, where he posts an average of 22.8 points, 1.8 rebounds, 2.5 master keys and 37.3 minutes in four matches, with 43.5% of success to the shootings of field and 44.4% to three points.
On July 7, the 21 year old player made his beginnings in a match of Warriors in Summer League against Hornets, by scored 37 points (14 of 20 shots with 2 points, 5 of 7 shots with 3 points, 4 of 6 shots with the free-throws), five rebounds, two assists and one steal in 40 minutes.
