Phoenix Suns Tied the Series With San Antonio Spurs

The High Scoring Team Phoenix Suns found a way unusual to tied their series against the San Antonio Spurs.

They gave a beginning of the surprise and Kurt Thomas did more resistant for the Tim Duncan of the Spurs whereas the Suns beat the Spurs 101-81 Tuesday to tie their second-round series 1-1 of the western conference semi-final.

Duncan ended equipment-better 29 points and 11 rebounds, but while the Suns are known for their league-leading offense, their defensive effort Tuesday keyed the win.

Thomas, in his 11th NBA season and his second with the Suns, started just 13 games during the regular season. He offered a great example of that in defending Duncan, also added 12 points in 6 of-7 shots in 28 minutes.

The suns are 8-0 with the formation that began in game 2. Game 3 is Saturday in San Antonio.
