Dallas Win Over Spurs 91-86

Dallas defeated Spurs 91-86 and may well play for the Western Conference championship.
By the end of the first, the Mavericks was trail behind by 28-22.
The Mavericks shot only 39% from the field while the Spurs shot at a 55%. Spurs' guard Tony Parker and forward Tim Duncan led in scoring for Spurs while Dirk Nowitzki and Josh Howard for the Mavericks had 4 each, with Jerry Stackhouse coming off the bench and scored 6. It seemed the Spurs were playing for pride and the Mavericks were just playing.
Then something happened toward the end of the third quarter that changed the dynamics of the game. It wouldn't be felt that quarter, but planted the seed that would germinate at the beginning of the fourth, bearing fruit the last three minutes of the game.
Spurs forward Tim Duncan, while on the bench, was called for two technicals in very short order. That got the Maverick fans in the game and took away the wind of the Spurs, placing them in the breeze of doldrums. The third quarter ended Spurs 76, Mavericks 72. The lead changed 10 times and they were tied 11 times during the third quarter. [read the detail]

In other game at that night, the Chicago Bulls win over Washington Wizards 101-68.
